While googling for nag champa incense, I found the flower was actually a magnolia champaca.

Anyone grow it here? I was looking for seeds but it's hard to find. Any plants or cuttings anywhere? I've seen some links from India but I'm not sure I want to order from that far away.

thanks! - I was actually looking for the white slim version, having childhood memories of hanging them from strands of hair, but I'll take any I can get.

I was thinking of asking for a cutting from any friend who ventured to India, but my fuzzy head says possible customs problems there. so. might have to talk to the neighbourhood nursery and see if he knows or can get something.

Where do you intend to grow it? It doesn't look like it's suitable to grow in the UK...and from seed it takes about 8 years to flower - presumably from the correct growing conditions.

Inside. We've got a pretty big sun porch, and then an inner lounge with windows where we move in plants that can't take the winter cold out in the porch. Had luck with a few exotics so fingers crossed.
