Roses...couple of questions

Thanks, will do. How should i take cuttings, not tried roses before.

You're welcome - semi-ripe cuttings in the late Summer, or they also are fairly easy to layer, if you can get a branch to bend down far enough - of course the size of the eventual plant is a little unpredictable, as the original will almost certainly been budded.

The layering was mentioned on a garden revival program i was watching, program was about old roses, how we need to introduce some into our gardens as so many have been lost in favour of newer, more productive flowerers but losing the scents.
