    After seeing NGs post in the seed sales thingy. I’m curious what’s the difference between a bush & shrub rose ?
    I won’t be getting one. Even though they’re pretty. They bite. I’m Just interested

    I think that the old roses that grow loosely like shrubs, are simply called that - shrub roses, they often only flower once, in June.
    The more modern bushy roses don't usually grow as tall, and have stiffer stems and habit of growth, they often flower repeatedly through the summer and include hydrid teas and polyanthas.
