My wife, without my knowledge, ordered a collection of five bare-rooted hosta "plants" from Parkers.
As you can see from the pictures they are well rooted, what I would describe as pips.
Their instructional Youtube shows a nice chunky rhizome with a couple of pips attached.
I've potted them in mix of JI3 and MPC in 6" pots.
I a bit worried about resilience of such small plants. I intend to keep slightly moist in frost free green house.
I am annoyed that these were sold now when hostas are going dormant. I would have thought spring is the proper time so they can get away and bulk up.
