In the heated propagator or indoors, list so far is: white nemesia, portulaca (so, so tiny the seedlings are hard to see), geraniums, verbena rigida, swan river daisy, pink, white and yellow cosmos.

All but the portulaca now out in the greenhouse to give house room to toms etc.

Hardier things still to be sown.
Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.

I fancy a bit of a wildflower meadow at the top of the garden.

I checked the price of wildflower plugs and sadly couldn't afford to do it that way.

I have just received a packet of wildflower seeds (purchased for £1)

A little poem on the front of the packet reads

                    "Sprinkle these wildflower seeds
                    somewhere warm and sunny
                    with a bit of water
                    they will begin to bloom.
                    Then watch the
                    bees and butterflies
                    arrive pretty soon!"

I won't be taking this advice but will try and grow my own plug plants using these seeds

to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

                    Diversify & prosper

Sown more nasturtiums because first lot didn’t germinate.
                      And sunflowers.

I've sowed Sweet Peas, Bells of Ireland, Salvia Mealycup, Dwarf Cosmos, Veronica Spicata, several Morning Glory, Calendula, Varies Tagetes, Zinnia, Thunbergia and Cup and Saucer plant.

It's my first time growing the Hardy Annuals which I sowed indoors, I am pricking out and potting on today, do these need to be hardened off, or as they are hardy enough to spend the nights in an unheated greenhouse, even if it gets close to freezing....Can you tell, I am running out of space! Thank you.
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!
