    Garlic mustard/Jack by the hedge?
    Rub the leaf, should smell garlicky. Its edible too!

          Yes - often. Bung a few leaves in a mixed salad. It spreads like mad - once you have it,you can't get rid of it!

          ..........and I still say its Garlic mustard!!

            OK apologies.
            I’ve had a chew and there is definitely a garlicky flavour. Thank you!
            Shall throw some in with my salad tonight as suggested.

              I've just looked for some in the garden - without success! Found lots of young plants - their leaves are rounder so must pull them up before they flower this year.

              Hope you enjoy your salad.

                  The Orange Tipped butterfly larvae really like feeding on garlic mustard. We had some plants pop up in the shade of a wall a few years ago, seeds likely from the Bird Poo Seed Circle.
