Folks, I took this pic of a flower when I visited Cabo Da Rocha just north of Cascais last weekend. Can anyone identify it please? I thought it was a Passion Flower, but obviously flora is not a strong point of mine.

Shirls has just poked me in the ribs and said I need to give more info... So here it is:
The flower is about 4 inches across, grows on semi arid dry soil on a cliff top. It grows about 3 inches from the ground to the top of the 'petals' and I didn't dare sniff it incase it was choc full of pollen!Let's go diggin' dirt....
Big silver bird, come land low and slow
Cut your engines, cool your wings,
You've taken me home...

Hi Madmax, it's definitely not a passionflower. I think it's a type of ice plant, probably Carpobrotus edulis (Hottentot fig), I found a link to a pic. of one here.

Thanks Sue. I looked the the url you posted but I am seeing a different type of leaf. In my pix, the leaves are similar to small Aloe Vera leaves, the leaves seem very thin in your example - but the bloom is very similar and the growing conditions seem to match - a warm, semi arid climate.
Not being a gardener, still learning with Shirls, I am not too good at this! I just found it an interesting style of plant!Let's go diggin' dirt....
