  • Replanting Autumn Bulbs

My Gladioli, Iris and Freesia etc were so absolutely pathetic because I made the stupid mistake of not cramming them together tightly in a pot. I planted them with the spacing specified on the planting instructions that came with the bulb packaging Oh why on earth do they keep telling you to do it this way!!!

I've extracted all the bulbs from 3 separate pots but it wouldn't hurt to replant them at this time of the year, would it? For Gladioli, I read that you must take them out and leave them to dry for replanting in March . I'm planning on placing these 3 groups of bulbs together in one pot, possibly adding to them Croscosmia Luficer and Anemone (if I can find them where in the bed I planted them).

Wouldn't have though it would be a problem although it might give them a bit of a set back for a few days, what with the shock of moving etc.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
