My OH bought me a dragon fruit a few days ago. Apparently these are the fruit of a cactus (google is wonderful), so I'm going to plant some of the seeds at the weekend. Be interesting to see if they grow.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
    Now a little Shrinking Violet.

      Dragon fruit ...

      Hi BS,

Yes, there are several sorts of Cacti that produce Dragon Fruit. The flowers are spectacular and scented but do it in the dead of night My daughter wants me to grow one but they are big jobs and I've already got one monster in the greenhouse (Selenicereus grandiflorus).

You'll need to dry the seeds off before you sow them but it'll be good to see what happens ... what do you do with dragon fruit

      This might help you.
