I bought one as a small plug plant, along with some hanging basket plugs from St Giles Nursery online, 'choca mocha' was the variety. I think I've managed to overwinter it but its still not very big. The flowers do smell chocolatey though!

I've seen them on ebay but they're not cheap.

      Try these...

Plant collections and Gardening Gifts - Hayloft Plants Type cosmos in the search.

I have used this company before, they are ok.

Cannot help with the plant cultivation bit, as mine have never lived long enough to need dividing.

I know the plant originally comes from Mexico area, so it needs hot, sunny and not too wet...!

try your local garden centre - ours has them in the prepacks with the Dahlia tubers. And treat them the same as a dahlia - Lift in autumn and store in peat in a cool frost free place.
