Haven't been in my garden for a week - came back tonight and had a good look round - choisya is flowering its head off, clematis montana is threatening to put on a show in next couple of days, geraniums started, lupins forming, tulips flowering away, loads of flowerheads on the welsh poppies but not open yet, aquilegias everywhere, astrantias growing like billy-o, inula magnifica putting on massive growth, honeysuckle covering vast areas, ceanothus climbing all over the wall - god it's good to be back

Welcome back Rat. Missed you. Yep, think have everything you got going great guns but maybe 2 weeks in advance. It's all climatic and doesn't seem to matter whether weather good, bad or rotten. Everything happens in its season for that part of the world. Hope you and Mrs Rat had a great honeymoon and will be happy forever.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
