snowdrops being munched!

Hello! anyone any ideas as to what is eating my snowdrop blooms.Yet again I have been left with a beautiful bunch of stalks.could it be mice or squirrels? I have a lovely little bunch right by the back door, bought from Bennington Lordship open day 2 years ago, and I haven't seen the flowers yet! Any ideas anyone?

SNAILS!!! The little bu****s get everywhere, and they're sneaky. Do most of the damage at night. Pop out with a torch tonight and I bet you see loads of them.

Don't think it is as I put down a ring of sawdust around them and that always keeps slugs away in my garden-they really look like they've been nibbled!
