young seedlings in paper pots

I have loads of flowers seedlings in paper pots going on to their second leaves stage... I have just noticed that the roots are already poking through the paper time to plant out ?
I am scared of some last frosts blowing before June, so what do you think : shall I just plant in a bigger pot and keep them in the greenhouse?
the flowers are : pot marigold, nasturnium, flax, hollyhock, pyrethrum.

Either pot them on or if you do plant them out you could always cover them with fleece.

Just because you can see the roots doesn't necessarily mean that they are pot bound and deperate to be planted. If they are only at the second leaf stage they are unlikely to have filled the pots out with roots. I think you can wait.

I'd definitely wait; I leave quite a few of mine in the original pots to hold them back whilst the others are planted out. It means you get some standby ones and follow on ones; extending the season.

i would wait also...i've got a load in pots too...I'm way far more North than you I know....but a bit of patience is best. Last year I was too enthusiastic and lost lots of seedlings outside!

Don't repot until they are completely pot=bound. More seedlings are lost through planting into a huge amount of wet compost (too big a pot - and the poor little roots drown) than are ever lost from being in a too-small pot.
