  • Quest for coloured Heliborus

I am about to place an order with J Parker (once I have thought up an excuse to give hubby as to why I need more plants!) but the one plant(s) I would love are just beyond our finances. We have some helleborus with a green flower which were here when we bought the house two years ago. They are thriving but I just dont like green flowers - leaves are green not flowers! They must like where they are so I want to get some coloured ones. Is there anyway any grapes could send me any cuttings, seedlings or seeds of some coloured varieties - I would be happy to swap for some of my green or something else from my garden or even for some greeting cards that I make.

    Hope someone can help.

I have seedlings which are crosses from my dark puple and pink Lenten Hellebores. They all come up different - from purple, pink to cream, some are spotted. It takes a couple of years to get a seedling up to flowering size but if you aren't in a hurry I can send you a bunch of seedlings. Send me a PM with your address.
