A few years ago we bought a small pot of butterfly lavender. It grew too bit for the pot so I split it into three and planted them side by side in a trough type planter. They did great and really grew well last year - so much so that I had to cut it back at the end of last year.
I was quite brutal and cut it back to the woody growth. Ever since, it hasn't done a thing. Most everything else is starting to bud and grow in the garden, the oak, the elder, ash etc, but no lavender.
Any ideas on how I can tell if it's deaded?
