pink bluebells

i have seen some pink bluebells on the side of the road and would like some for the garden however i think that they may cross with native blue bells and may do more harm than good can any one help

They're probably Spanish Squill Johny and they do get a bad name for forcing out native bluebells, but if you want them in your garden.............. and they do pop up all over the place and are just about impossible to dig out.

We have blue and pink and white bluebells.. they do not appear to cross pollinate over the 20 years or so we have had them. We have strips of them totalling about 20 x2 metres so several thousand and growing at a rate of hundreds self seeded every year so they are now a weed!

thank u for the reply i thought they looked very nice they didn't look like Spanish ones these lent to one side though i think they have all ready crossed
