    Hi everyone,

I managed to scrounge some digitalis excelsior of my nephew over the weekend, can someone tell me where is the best place to plant them (sun, shade etc),and should i plant them on their own or in groups, i think he gave me about 12 plants altogether, and will it be ok to plant them out now or is it a bit early.

    Thanks..

Dappled shade is good, in groups would look fab, they can go outside now.

They're beautiful plants, I've got seeds but keep forgetting to sow them!!!!
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

They naturally grow in hedge bottoms so the dappled shade thing is right. They also self seed very generously so you should never be without them!
