  • Unidentified Plant with Hooky Black 'Thorns' on Leaves

I have two little plants groing quite happily in pots in my greenhouse and I can't, for the life of me, work out what they are - can anyone help?

The leaves have teeny tiny black hooky type thorny things on them, which I hope you can see in the photo.

I was experimenting with planting lots of different annuals this year but I can't recognise these at all.

    Thanks

Answered my own question...I think it is Nicandra aka 'the shoo fly' plant.

Hi Robin, could I ask where you got shoo-fly seeds from? I tried sowing some this year but they must have been out of date and nothing came of them.

I got them from Chiltern Seeds; I don't mind popping a few in an envelope and posting them if you like?
