  • Daff help !

Hello folks, Could anyone tell me what I am supposed to do with my
daff stems now they have finished flowering ? seem to remember my dad putting them in bunches ! Thanks , have a good day

You can mow or cut them back once they start to go brown - in a couple of weeks. Don't tie them in bunches, it doesn't help.

Hi again beaufontboy. Your daffs should be dead headed once the flowers are spent, unless of course you want to save the seed. Then feed them, so you get decent blooms again next year. Once the stems and leaves have browned off - about 6 weeks, then you can cut them back Dont bunch them up or restrict the leaves in any way, this prevents the goodness going back down into the bulb. Hope this helps
