Can anyone out their let me know if it is possible to get the Aquilegia to flower more than once in a season. This is the first time that we have grown them, so really don't know the growing cycle of this plant.

If you cut them down as soon as they have finished flowering, you sometimes get a second lot of flowers in a few weeks time. Unless you want millions of them self seeded all over the place, it is better to remove the old flower stalks anyway.

I prefer the millions of seeds!

Never tried, but as with most plants if you cut off the flowering heads as soon as they're past it you may get a second flowering.
