Walking home from visiting friends today, we chanced upon a temporary flower market My youngest son was very taken with this one but I have no idea what it is



Any ideas?

I love this flower. I saw it at some stately home's gardens and spent hours looking through a plant id book trying to find it. Eventually got the OH to agree to have one only last week!

They used to be considered as half hardy but they can usually manage a modern globally warmed winter now!

That particular one is Osteospermum whirligig.

The older it gets the more likely the petals will revert back to standard ones so cuttings every few years is advised.
