Plant id ,help

I have these 2 plant's growing ,the first have little blue flower's ,in the garden they are about 4ft and 2ft in a pot.i nicked flower head's from my dad's garden,he thought the seed's came from bird seed but im not so sure.The other's have pink flower's i thought they were magic hollyhock when they were small but now they are flowering there clearly different im guessing it's malva but not sure.If anyone know's please let me know .jo

The first, the blue one, is flax. The other does look like a mallow - not sure which.
