If you're really keen to win prizes, sow the seeds individually in 3 and a half inch pots mid-April. Germinate on a kitchen windowsill. Once they have germinated keep them cool and in very good light (unheated greenhouse is good) so they don't get too leggy. Plant out onto the lottie as soon as your frosts have finished.
