I have a number of lupins in pots and was wondering what i should do with them, should i be bringing them indoors or should i leave them were they are?

I have 3 types, gallery red,the chatelaine and manhatton lights, i love my lupins and just wanted to make sure i was treating them rightLife isnt about surviving the storm.....But learning to dance in the rain.Comment

Lupins are hardy perennials Blue. In the ground they would be perfectly hardy over the winter. In pots - like all other plants - they could get frosted. I would move the pots to the warmest part of the garden - south facing and up against a wall. Or you could wrap something round the pots - bubblewrap, hessian, cardboard - anything.
Even if you do nothing your lupins will probably be fine. Good luck.

you could cover them over with some straw and a plant pot to keep the crowns warm and dry as well, but I agree with Alicentg
