Can anyone tell me how I would go about drying out some Honesty plants. I have both white and purple ones just starting to produce their seeds.

It is not the seeds that i want to dry out but the whole plant with seed heads still attached (or stems of) so it can be used as an arrangement.

    Thanks

Wait until the pods take on a papery look and then pull them up and hang them upside in a dry airy place and wait until they are completely dry the outer case of the pods will begin to peel back and can be removed.

I grow lots of everlastings, favourites being common helichrysum or straw flowers.
have never managed to dry the stems though. So frustrating to have lovely flowers but can’t display them in a vase!
anyone tried using a glycerine Solution?
didn’t want to buy any if it ain’t going to work!!
