  • Not nepeta

So have been growing what I thought was a nepeta from seed. Planted out in the front garden and clearly not what I thought it was. Any ideas? It’s very healthy and vigorous and starting to show some yellow flowers. Attached pics and what the seed packet was. Not even a chance it got mixed up with other seeds I put in at that time as that was all cosmos and osteospermum.

It looks like mizuna to me.

You can eat the flower buds as well as the leaves.

How funny I was just out the front looking at it and thought it looked more like a type of lettuce than a flower. The wee yellow flowers reminded of when veg goes to seed. Can only think that it was a stray seed in the packet. Have never grown that in my veg beds. Oh well it oooks quite good and can have some with my dinner.
