I’ve just planted up 4 containers of narcissus bulbs for the spring,the instructions say keep in the dark for 10 weeks, is this actually necessary? I’ve not done that before, presumably garage would be ok?
I believe that's usually for when you want to force pots of bulbs to flower early (such as for Christmas). If you just want them to flower in spring at the normal time then it isn't necessary.
