10 marigold seeds I came across in a sort out that are out of date but I have grown 4+ year old marigold seed successfully before so fingers crossed. They are for the tomatoes.

Finally started to sow some flowers. So far, Ammi Majus, Begonias (it looked like dust really), trailing Snapdragons, Bellis, Thunbergia Alata and Pelargoniums. Sowed my first Sweet Peas the other day and have more to do.
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

Today I sowed some cerinthe and Tom Thumb nasturtiums. I also thinned out my Marmalade rudbeckia.

I've just planted the sweet pea seeds I put to soak yesterday. They were some that I saved myself two years ago so I've no idea if they are any good but I did store them in a mini jam jar. I've planted about 100 so I'm hoping at least some appear.

Only 5 out of 16 lupin seeds I sowed at the end of Feb have come up, so I'll sow some more today.

Last year I was disappointed with my sweet pea germination. The seeds were about two years old, and had been stored in the fridge. I've been resigned to think that they don't keep, so I'll be interested to hear how yours do.

I sowed some Valentine sunflowers. Haven't grown these ones before but I decided to try some shorter, multi-stemmed sunflowers this year after the heads of my tall single stem ones all got blown off by the wind last summer.
