Daphne Odora Rebecca,I moved it right next to the patio door because of all the wind,it’s unsupported,it’s nice seeing the big bee visit,our cat was stalking the bee earlier,I think it disturbed him,he’s never caught a bee but he has given them a little slap if they get too close to him so I told him to leave it & he walked away,I love how our cats learnt some of the English language anyway here’s the flowers they’re scented & this is an evergreen too so looks good all year on the patio

RHS say very fragrant. Is this true? I'm very tempted if so.
My reticulatas still flowering but no discernible scent.

Flowering currant,it’s raining so I took the photo from the kitchen door,the bees love this early flowering shrub,I put the bee houses next to it,there was a nest in the ground a couple of times but it’s solitary bees,I just have to be careful where they are,they let you know with their buzzing if you get close,haven’t come out to attack if you leave them bee The flowering finishes before the tomatoes start producing,so it can be cut right back after flowering,leaving space for sweetcorn/beans/tomatoes sun loving plants

Sorry, there's no discernible perfume. Like quite a few things that are supposed to be perfumed, it isn't! Perhaps it's just me....

I took my first photo on 17 November, and it has been sending up a couple of flowers continuously all winter, helped by the fact it's been mostly quite mild. So, to me it's worth a top spot in my garden. This variety is Walter Butt.

Tulips on the allotment

This is the second time in the 45 years I have had this plant. It is a classic money tree Crasula Ovata.
It looks like there is a few more flowers to come too.

From a number of rescued flower bulbs I planted even though it was the wrong time of year a couple have turned out to be pink hyacinths and are flowering.

This clematis held onto the forsythia last year,it’s usually just on the fence & difficult to see the purple flowers from the house. I usually cut it back in the autumn but I left it because it looks nice entwined like that with all the colour

Does anyone remember these tulips,that started off as one flower years ago that I didn’t plant & they’ve been multiplying on their own,they open in the sun & close up at night,both photos taken today,they amaze me every year

Pear blossom with bee. The tree is absolutely covered in flowers, but the coldest weekend of the winter forecast for this weekend, so probably no fruit this year.
