I have hederifolium which have been spread all over garden by ants. In planters and beds. These originated from a few from my late mother's garden 25 years back.
I heavily mulched a patch with garden compost last summer and all these seedlings have appeared recently.
I fancy trying coum but I understand that they shouldn't be grown in competition with hederifolium.
