    But plants absorb seaweed etc through the foliage much quicker.

    Foliar feeding is the technique of spraying the leaves of a plant with a dilute mixture of water and fertilizer. As opposed to traditional fertilizer, which is absorbed by the roots and stem, the spray is taken directly by the foliage

      It could burn any very young leaves. Or just add more damp to any bits that are unhealthy. Your plant, your call, Marb. But I wouldn't do it. I'd do nothing and just let it be for a bit.

        The reason I suggested seaweed is because of it's anti-fungal properties but like you say, perhaps leave it dry.
