So in the T&M free postage weekend I also bought a pack of 3 lupin roots (Russell Hybrids). They've just turned up, 2 a decent size 1 a bit teeny, but all of them have sprouted. The sprouts look very spindly and pale (understandably), do I knock them off before planting. And what is the best way to plant these up, given I want to start them off in pots to give them a fighting chance away from the slugs/snails?
