I saved some of what I thought were white Spanish bluebells. They would have been lost if I did not act.
What I have actually saved looks like vertically challenged daffodils.
The flower stems are no more than three inches tall and the leaves are garden pea green.
The first flower has opened three petals to reveal that it is supposed to be a daffodil.
There is a fading snowdrop in the second photo for scale. The border is next to a vehicle track on the allotments so there is a bit of splashed mud about.
Has anyone got any ideas what they are?
