  • Dying Petunia

Why oh why oh why does almost every plant I buy, perfectly heathly go downhill as soon as it crosses the threshold of my garden? I mean it's a Petunia for petes sake! But as usual the stems are going brown and it'll eventually snuff it. Absutely no idea as it's still in the same pot it was bought from the nursery so I haven't messed with the soil. 😔 Click image for larger version

I would cut it back a bit then place it on a tray of water add water to the surface of the compost which will help the plant/soil draw up the water from the base but avoids over watering, then after couple of hours give the plant a foliar feed
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
