I have twenty coloured 4" Tin pots hanging on my fence. Some have had petunias or pansies, but are mostly finished now. Any ideas what to put in them now please? I had thought cyclamen, but not sure whether they would outgrow the pots?

Michaelmas daisies might do nicely & give lovely autumn colour - they divide well so you could split a plant if too big for your containers.
I'm not sure about the cyclamen. I tried them in decent sized pots once before & they never came back in year 2 - most likely mine rotted though as they do like good drainage/dislike being wet over winter. They should be ok in theory as long as you only put one plant per pot. You could always transplant to the garden after flowering - they spread themselves around quite well in the ground & that would give you an easy source for your pots next year too.
There are the autumn/winter pansies but I'm guessing you might be fancying a changeLocation: SE Wales about 1250ft up

According to this site Flo , 4” pots might be perfect - just depends on the type…

We had cyclamen on the kitchen window sill for a couple of years in 3" pots and they flowered merrily. Eventually, SWMBO made a couple of larger pots and they just grew into them and kept going.
Could coleus be suitable or would it bee too cold?

Flo, I grow cyclamen in 4 inch pots..When they finish flowering I lay them on their side under my deck until, the end of August.
I take them out and water them and they come back every year, I have lost a couple along the way but this works for me.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
