Love snowdrops. I got given two small pots of growing bulbs for Christmas. Galanthus elwessi Beluga and Snow Fox. They seem quite pot bound, if I plant them out where do you think, we've a bit of a hedge and how deep?

Snowdrops like damp, shady places. The bulbs need to be 4 - 6 inches deep, so they don't dry out in summer, plus as the bulbs multiply they tend to rise towards the surface.
    Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
    Endless wonder.

I did have to hint. Normally at Christmas I say 'keep the receipt'! Lol, I'm difficult to buy for.
Hope you've had a lovely holidays and are welcoming in the New Year. x

We have quite a lot of Snow Drops in the garden now, proper lifts the garden out of it's slumbers.
