  • Cyclamen dead

Aaaaaaaand another newly purchased flower from last Sept has just died without any good reason. Absolutely ridiculous that this should happen to something like a Cyclamen. Still in the same pot and kept indoors.

Stick it outside…mine look like that before they grow new leaves in the Spring. Fingers crossed it’ll come back.

It's been outside for a few weeks since. It went downhill but as the base is hollow after putting my finger very easily through it it doesn't look too likely. I hope you are right though 🙂

What variety of cyclamen is it, Marb? Coum, hederifolium, or persicum? Cyclamen persicum is not cold tolerant.

        Endless wonder.

No idea as there was no label but it was in the house when it started to go downhill and not in a cold place.

            They don't like warm houses.

Now is the time to buy some Hederifolium in the green. Once established the ants will spread the seeds everywhere in your garden including planters!
