Any suggestions as to what pot plant can I put outside my cellar window? It will be under clear corrugated plastic so will be shaded but also won't get lots of direct light or water except when I water it although it should be humid down there.

I've always wanted to get a fern like this
Athyrium Niponicum 'Ursula's Red' - Mirror Garden
But I think Mirrorgarden uses J Parker for their plants, who aint meant to be very good...

I've bought various A.Niponicum strains from the likes of J Parker and none of them ever come true to the pictures in the catalog. A.Nip is a pretty little fern outright tho.
My fave has to be Dryopteris Erythrosora, large, hardy, fab colors and persists into winter in a sheltered spot.
