I started the garden clear up today but we are not taking down the tin shed until next year and would like a climbing plant that would grow quickly in a slightly shady area of the garden, any suggestions? How about Sweat Pea as they are nice and bright?

Clematis Montana, you can get white or pink. Montans Rubis is pink and Alba is white. It is quick growing and will cover your shed very quickly. If you decide to buy the pink one the colour may not be as vivid if it is in shade but it will still do the job well.
Good luck.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

What about something you could eat Herby? Runner beans would get up there Tooty Fruty and they do lovely flowers. Jerusalem Artichokes would get up there, although it is recommended to remove the sunflowers.
If you just want something ornamental for a screen, annual Lavatera and cosmos won't cover the whole thing but will produce something a decent height for this year and give lots of colour.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I have just brought a mixed selection of the Clematis and I think for the trellis near the back door I think possibly I will go for the Morning Glory: Black Knight & Purple Haze, they looks absolutely stunning! The Cypress Vine looks nice but I think I like the Clematis more.
As for Runner Beans I think save them for the trellis by the patio doors when I get the decking laid.Follow my garden and chilli growing project... @impatientgrower
