Climbing Plant for Hen Run

Last year some bindweed grew up the side of the hen run and twined itself round the wire. This gave some nice dappled shade for the hens and I'd like to plant something this year (but not bindweed!)
Any suggestions?
It would have to be in pots as I don't want to loosen the earth round the outside of the henrun and obviously don't want to poison the hens, so think sweet peas must be out??

Was thinking of ordinary peas (Alderman climbing variety) as I don't mind them eating what pokes through to their side but flowers would be preferable for me anyway.

I have some Chilean Glory Flower seeds going spare if you'd like them? It's a very nice climber. But I'd google them first to make sure you like them. (Theres nothing i could find to say they were harmful if eaten.

I've grown climbing ornamental gourds over the chicken wire, they're really prickly so don't get eaten, as above I have some seeds if you want them!

There are some very nice climbing nastrurtiums around. I had some growing up me bean frames last year. By accident - I thought they were the ordinary ones and edged the bean bed with them. Very pretty though. Not my worst mistake by a long shot!

Thank you one and all for the suggestions and offers of seed. And I'm keeping that website detail, fascinating to know, especially if I want to plant something more permanent.
I've scrabbled through my seed box at the suggestion of nasturtiums and silly me, now I've read the seed packet properly, have some seed already of the climbing variety, so thanks for that idea, I'lll get planting. Would love to have a go at the Chilean vine but as I've got the nasturtiums, will try those this year.
