I usually throw the seeds on the garden when I cut back my verbena at about this time of year. They always seem to germinate as I often have to thin them out.
I wonder if they are a plant that needs some cold to start them into growth. If I have any left in the garden to cut back, I can send you the seed.
I'll go and check - the goldfinches might have had what's left.
BTW I never could grow them from seed in a propagator so bought one plant and grew as above!
Its not much use atm MikeB but once you've got it you'll be more concerned with stopping its seeds germinating! I love it but it grows everywhere and anywhere in our garden!
