is it too early to put my sweet peas out?

they are a few inches high now.

do u think it will be warm enough now?

Depends on your area, I dont plan on putting mine out for a good while especially with this return of a cold snap, then I will move them to a cold frame and gradually harden them off.

I wouldn't, mine are in the plastic greenhouse and doing well, and I wouldn't want to risk it just yet.

I was wondering whether to put mine out yet. I bought them from B&Q about 3 weeks ago and put them in the GH. They have been growing very well and are starting to bend over as they are around 10" high. We are in S.Yorkshire so probably too early to put them out but what do i do with them in the meantime?

        Thanks

Oh dear, I planted mine out a week ago.
Dave, have you pinched them out yet?

Normally you would do this when the seedlings are about 2-3 inches high but I'm sure it would be okay to do this now. Just pinch out the growing tip, the top few leaves, otherwise you will probably just get a single stem of flowers. By pinching it out, it encourages the plant to bush out a bit and will shorten them a little for you.

Mine went in the ground yesterday - about 5 inches high and very healthy (sweet peas are hardy)

March/April is the time to plant out. Be guided by local weather conditions though. If the ground is cold and/or very wet it is best to wait. The plants will soon catch up.

You can sow direct (in the ground) now too.

Once again guys some great advice here, it has been very warm here over the last couple weeks but the locals up here tell me we can get frosts right up until early may.

Would a frost kill them in one night?
Could I plant them in my raised beds now and then cover them up I a frost is forecast?

                      Thanks

                        Sweet peas are hardy.
So long as you have hardened them off properly, they should be fine.

                              Silly question...

Ar they poisonous? The reason that I ask is that, if they are, I won't mix them with anything edible!
