We are thinKing of having a go at growing both Peonies and Hydrangeas in large pots as we only have a large patio. Anyone tried this and if so how easy is it to do?

Hi Lisaj
I have grown Hydrangeas in large pots with some success. They do need lots of moisture.
I have had mine for a few years now. I remove the top couple of inches of soil
every year and replace with humous rich compost with some slow release granule fertiliser.
I trim them back towards the end of the month when I see the new growth coming through. I think the important thing is to keep them moist and well fed. They do
look a picture in late summer/autumn and well worth the care and attention.
