Dahlias - bishops children and fireworks

Hello all

My dahlia seedlings have just produced they're first true leaves and i've potted them up. Unfortunaely i'm out of room at home and i was thinkning of popping them into my cold frame outside. will this be too cold?

p.s has anyone else had they're tulips come through? Mine have just started to flower! - they seem very early.

Dahlias are about as hardy as potatoes or tomatoes and are quite frost and cold prone!

if frost is forcast put some fleece over them and cover the cold frame with old carpet and cross yer fingers

My tulips are up but not flowering/buds yet. Got some narcissus flowering though

The dwarf tulips are in flower here in Bucks, but all my others are only leaves at the mo. Got a few daffs and crocus. Hyacinths also coming up and nearly out. Does that help?

All my hyacinths are in bloom. My daffs have been in bloom for the past few weeks and the blossom on my plum tree is starting to open as well.
