This year I'm going to grow a few perennials from seeds. Some of them are Monarda(bergamot) and Eryngium Blue Hobbit(slightly different than Sea Holly).
Monarda-I'm a big fan of Earl Grey, the plant has lovely flowers, bee friendly and bug repellet.Enough recommendations to sow it everywhere.
Eryngium-lovely looking silvery-blue plant,attracts butterflies,good for dried boquets.
Has anybody grown them from seeds or maybe you have them in your garden? What are the ideal growing conditions for these two?I'm going to start the seeds at home as they need fairly high germination temperature.
I know I won't get any flowers this year...but I believe they are worth waiting for
