I have one of these plants in my garden but not sure how to look after it. At the moment it is flowering. Does it need pruning or cutting back at some point and should I cut down the flower stems after flowering?

It says in my book: 'root young rhizome sections with one or more leaf rosettes after flowering or in autumn in open ground'. Which will make sense once you've dug it up and can see it, I guess. I like dividing things: free plants!
