Can anyone identify this plant? I thought it might be white deadnettle (lamium album), but the flowers seem different - flat, rather than hooded.

Garlic mustard. It's the food plant for the caterpillar of the orange tip butterfly. You should be able to see them laying now.

Also known as Jack by the Hedge. You can actually use it crushed up fresh with balsamic vinegar and oil to make a dressing for things like strong fish - mackeral for example. A leaf or two on a sandwich is quite invigorating too!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
