I gave up instantly on the grounds that if T_S thinks it's tricky, I have no chance How unusual is it to get an all white one? I've certainly not seen one before.

I vaguely remember you mentioning you'd grown a white limanthus in another thread....an Albumen plant if i remember rightly.
I've grown some from seed this year and wondered is it best to plant them individually or in clumps. How big does an individual plant grow, girth I mean!

I planted them in clumps last year Snadger, coz I couldn't be fashed trying to seperate them. They fought it out, and filled the space with flowers, no worries. They've self seeded and are growing away like the clappers already

I separate them as much as possible .. 6 inches each way.
If they are in a clump, then transplant in a clump of about 4, then as they grow on, thin them down to one. Or - don't bother
