Bleeding Heart

I have a bleeding heart and have had it about 3 or 4 years it is at its best ever. Or so I thought it seems that the leaves are curling up and very dry. It has been watered regulary so not through lack of water, what could it be.

Could it have got scorched by the sun if the leaves got wet?

Dicentra Spectabilis - or bleeding heart, is generally trouble free but aphids, slugs and snails sometimes feed on this species, which causes damage to the leaves.

Have you dug near the base of the plant at all? They hate being disturbed! I had to get a few deep rooted weeds out from some of mine and they died But on the plus side they have came back good this year

Its in a pot and hasnt been disturbed its not slug / snail damage just dried curled leaves the flowers are lovely. I cut off the damaged leaves yesterday will see how it fairs. Only water it after the sun has gone off it, as its against the kitchen wall and gets the morning sun and is in the shade by about lunchtime.

Maybe needs a feed? Alot of people forget to feed stuff in pots
