My money's still on Phlomis, it's developing the whorls of yellow flowers in stages up the stem.

OK, Flummery. I'm hopping about, impatient for it to flower. I did notice that the leaves of Betony were narrower.
It is very like a Phlomis, Vicky. Time will tell.
I did have foxgloves in the garden, Sweepster, and it might easily have been those,self-seeded.
